Manchester, Michigan's Most Historic Wedding Estate
10383 E Austin Rd, Manchester, MI 48158. 43 acres. 190 years. One remarkable story that no other Michigan wedding venue can claim.
The Blum Estate is located in Manchester, Michigan — a small town in Washtenaw County with deep agricultural roots, set between Ann Arbor and Jackson.
The estate itself has defined this corner of Bridgewater Township since 1832. Phillip Petrus Blum arrived from Bavaria and built a stone farmhouse from fieldstone pulled from these fields — a house that still stands. In the 1960s, Jimmy Hoffa's personal attorney transformed the grounds into a private horse-racing compound. In 2026, after a devastating fire, the family rebuilt and opened The Stables — a purpose-built wedding venue that serves up to 200 guests.
Manchester couples and families across Southeast Michigan choose The Blum Estate for the sense of place that no ballroom or banquet hall can replicate. This is land that carries weight. History you can feel beneath your feet.
